A filmic registration of phasings and how things fall together in changing subtle rhythms in which circling birds and filmic markings create a visual sound composition. The musical potential of the graphic and the swing of the birds play alongside incidental marks in the reworked analogue footage to allow a momentary meeting of ways of holding and of the apprehension of things held. Informed by Jean Luc Nancy on the spacing and resonance of visual sound and Cornelius Cardew’s Treatise (1963-7), the work is a bracketing of an explicit orientation towards goals and results.
