Passages from the Buddha’s ancient scripture; T.S Eliot’s The Fire Sermon and the section by the same name of The Wasteland (1974) are threaded and recomposed as a score for solo voice. Excerpts were transcribed and translated from English into Japanese. The drawing/score was further annotated during with notes for translation and performance
